Hatta Wadi Trip  is a combination of history, culture and adventure. It is a destination for a real escape from hustle and bustle of modern City Life. We take a trip through Al Aweer and drive through the Golden Sands Dunes towards the Oasis of Hatta. En route, we have enough opportunity to see the desert life including few of the Bedouin tents and grazing camels.We drive further along the undulating Sand Dunes and stop for a photograph, and then we proceed to Hajjar Mountains which is near Oman border. We will see also the lush green valleys, dry and seasonal River Beds until we reach the mountain pool for a swim in its cool refreshing waters. After a refreshing swim, we will visit Hatta Fort Hotel, the famous 5 star hotel for lunch.

Hatta Trip is a desert safari with mountain driving along the valleys of the Hajjar Mountains beside the Oasis of Hatta. We pick up the tourists by 4WD vehicles at 8.30 Hrs, pass through Al Aweer and drive through the Golden sand dunes towards the Oasis of Hatta. Enroute we have enough opportunity to see the Desert life including few of the Bedouin tents and grazing camels.

We can see the color of the dunes gradually varies to reddish dunes. We drive further along the undulating sand dunes and visit the camel rock. We stop for a while for photographs and then pass through the fossil rock continuing our tour until we reach the mountain valley at Mahda.

Enroute we pass through Bedouin camps and we may have the opportunity to have camel rides also. Remember! We encounter several photographic opportunities and therefore don’t forget to keep your camera and film in your bag. We also see the lush green valleys, dry and seasonally Wet River – beds. We drive further along the picturesque mountain ranges of colorful contrasts up to 1000 meters high.

From the mountain we reach the Oasis of Hatta, a village surrounded by palm trees; pleasant with its cooler climate and beautiful with its mountain sceneries. Being situated at the foot hills of the Hajor Mountains, it is an important connection between Sohar and U.A.E. Hatta is a Destination for a real escape from the bustles of Modern City life. Even though the Oasis of Hatta was rebuilt subsequently its water canals still exists, irrigating the nearby farmlands. The first dam in the U.A.E. was also built at Hatta. Some of the water supplied to Dubai, even today, comes from a reservoir built at Hatta. We also visit an ancient fort built in the 19th century.

After a refreshing swim in the cool waters of Hatta pools at the mountain wadis we go to Hatta Fort Hotel to relax for a while. You can enjoy an optional 5* Buffet Lunch from the Hotel Restaurant. Lunch is optional .
