Each village having it's own Falaj, an ancient underground Irrigation system, some more than 2000 years old - bringing water to the date groves which provided a livelihood for the people. The tour includes a visit to the Al Ain Museum , the Camel market and the beautiful Buraimi oasis where you can also see the ancient Falaj system. We also visit the Buraimi souk ,which is renowned, for it's bargains and the Hili Gardens .This garden is laid around a reconstructed tomb dating back to 2500 BC and adjoins the now excavated remains of the Bronze Age settlement.

 

Al Ain is an oasis city and the second largest in the emirate of Abu Dhabi.  Having a history dating back to the 4th millennium BC. Al Ain is one of the agricultural centers of the Emirates and also a university town and the birthplace of the President of the U.A.E.Visit the archaeological digs at Hili, which date back some 5,000 years. Drive onwards to the oasis town of Buraimi. After lunch, visit the Al Ain Palace Museum, the residence of the late ruler Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan from 1927 until the early 70s. On the return journey to Dubai, halt at the quaint camel market where you have a good opportunity to observe these extraordinary “ship of the desert”.
